Hi ho, Kermit the frog here! No actually, it’s Jenni. Just filling in this space with some stuff that’s not about me at all, even though the title is “about me”. I think there are many things more interesting. For instance, did you know the Chambered Nautilus is a cephalopod, just like an octopus or squid? However, Chambered Nautiluses are the only cephalopods who bother to grow a shell (and a pretty one at that, mind you). “Cephalopod” means “head-footed”; in other words, its legs grow straight out of its head, much like a 2 year old’s drawing of a person. Cephalopods belong in the phylum mollusca, same as snails and slugs, only I like them much better because they don’t eat my garden.
Did you reeeeeally want to know something about me? If you insist. I am a mammalian vertebrate, a writer, a beach-lover who is landlocked at the moment, a Jesus freak trying to get a little freakier day by day, and someone who pines daily for the last trumpet call. The fruit of my womb numbers 12 (here on earth) and I homeschool them all. Homeschooling has crippled any vestiges of self-importance I may have ever had, and I am the last person on earth who is cut out for it. The fact that I have survived over 15 years of it only proves the veracity of 2 Cor. 12:9.
Scrapbooking, photography, gardening, and crafting are some of the things I enjoy in reality. But if I should live 100 years I'd like to learn how to: Scuba, Box, Watercolor, Surf, Sail, Learn Greek, Latin, and Russian, Play the piano (well), Finish a novel, Visit all of the islands in the Caribbean, and Grow roses.
